Northern Soul comes to Headingley Carnegie – Sunday 3rd May

Over 1000 soul fans are expected to head to Headingley Carnegie stadium from all over the country for a huge musical event which has been organised by Yorkshire based charity, Charity Soul.

The stadium will be transformed into a musical haven for Nothern Soul lovers with a mian room playing general 60s Northern Soul Music, a modern soul room, a Dekkas Roots room where 60s RnB, mod, rare sould will be played and the Long Bar will be transformed into the Motown room with Steve Ward playing the fantastic Tamla Motown music and also showing the artists on the big screen. The event will be supported by Vixen 101 FM and there will be live music from American singer ”Scotty” from Soul Sensation.

The event will begin at 4pm and will finish at midnight. Tickets for the event are £10 (+£1.50 booking fee) and are on sale from the Leeds Rugby Ticket Office on 0871 423 13 15 (calls cost 10p and mobile rates vary). For further information visit
